Jim serves as a Deacon in our church and works as a Senior Electrical Engineer for the State of California. He is an avid student of God’s Word and has been taking Bible College courses for many years in his spare time. Jim’s primary gift is teaching. He is involved in both teaching Sunday School and preaching – as well as other ministries. Jim’s wife Marie works for the State of California in accounting. She was born and raised in Bolivia and has the gift of hospitality. Her heart is in sharing the gospel and the love of Christ. Jim and Marie both enjoy hiking, camping, and spending time with their children and grandchildren. |

Dwight and his wife Clorina have been members of our church since 1990. Dwight serves our church as a Deacon, teaches an adult Sunday School Class, and serves in other areas as needed. He is a doctor of optometry and served our nation in the Air Force for over 20 years in this capacity retiring with the rank of Major. One of Clorina’s gifts is serving so she can be found cleaning, buying supplies, or serving around the church in various other ways. Dwight and Clorina have three (3) children and their hobbies include traveling in their RV (Recreational Vehicle) and taking care of their grandchildren. |

John Kane has been our Pastor since 2004. His ministry emphasis is expository preaching, discipleship and pastoral care. Before being called to our church he had the privilege of serving for many years in various lay leadership roles such as deacon, worship leader, Bible teacher at virtually every age level, and he has served as an assistant pastor on the staff of 2 churches. Pastor John’s wife Janet is a registered nurse and worked in that field for over 18 years, but is happily now a full-time wife, mother and help-meet. She also serves in our church in a variety of ways. In their spare time the Kane’s enjoy spending time together as a family, developing relationships with people that need Christ, and fellowshipping with other believers. |

Jim and his wife Verna have been members of our church since 1990. Jim is originally from Mississippi and Verna from Tennessee. They have lived in Citrus Heights for over 40 years. Jim retired as a manager from the McClellan Air Force Base (now decommissioned). Jim and Verna have been married for 54 years and raised 6 children. They enjoy working in their garden, grandkids, and serving the Lord in our church in all kinds of ways. |
